This small B&B is a 2-minute walk from Matera's Piazza Vittorio Veneto, gateway to the Sassi area. Each room offers a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast is a sweet buffet including fresh fruit.

All rooms at the Santa Marta have a view of the main street, and are simply decorated with wenge wood and tiled floors. Each includes a tea/coffee maker and toiletries.

B&B Santa Marta is 150 metres from Matera Train Station, on the Ferrovie Apulo Lucane railway. The bus terminus with links to the main Italian cities is in front of the station.
