In Bowness-on-Windermere, Puddle Duck Lodge offers free parking for 1 car per room and is 30 minutes’ drive from the M6. The shores of Lake Windermere are just a 10-minute walk away and the property is just a mile from Windermere Railway and Coach Station.

The bright and airy bedrooms have all the facilities you will need and more. They also have wonderful views of our award winning cottage garden.

A complimentary breakfast hamper, items chosen by you from a broad menu, will be delivered to your room where there is a dining table to start the day in private and relaxed comfort.

Popular local activities include boat trips and water sports on Lake Windermere, as well as walking and cycling in the Lake District National Park. There are many gardens, heritage properties and places of historical interest to enjoy. Also there is the fantastic open top bus!

The town of Bowness has many attractions: independent shops, boutiques, The World of Beatrix Potter, a fantastic period cinema, the Old Laundry theatre, varied restaurants, cafés and pubs, all just a two minute walk away from Puddle Duck Lodge.
